DMCA Policy

1. Overview

UsePDF respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws.

2. Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, please provide our designated agent with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material
  • Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our designated agent. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Andorra

5. Response Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notify the user who posted the material
  • Provide the user with a copy of the DMCA notice
  • Inform the user of their right to file a counter-notification

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

UsePDF has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.

7. False Claims

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. Do not make false claims.
